Manooi was founded by the artist/designers János Héder and Judit Zoltai. the workshop has been operating under their joint supervision ever since. János is the lead designer for Manooi. After receiving his degree in architecture and interior design at the university of arts and design budapest, he founded inarchi, an architecture studio. He then founded Manooi light Creations in response to the interior design demands of the studio. The two companies have been operating in parallel by supporting and complementing each other.
